We spent the first part of the day running some errands. This was the day we took the truck check engine light matter to the Ford dealership repair garage and got that sorted. We stopped at a grocery to stock up on a couple things, knowing we’d be back on the road soon. Then we went to pick up Babe and Karen as they wanted to join us in visiting the Charles Russell museum.
The museum did not disappoint. From the gift shop to the many exhibits, to the actual workshop cabin and home, it was extensive and well done, easy to visit and we spent several hours thoroughly enjoying every bit. I guess the best way to share about it is with a photo dump, and I took so many. Enjoy.

We went back to camp to rest after the museum visit, and then met Babe, Karen and Sheila at a Kobe steakhouse for our send-off dinner. It was a delicious and fun way to cap off a perfect visit with family we don’t see nearly enough. We said our reluctant goodbyes and thank yous and called it a day.
Next we would return to Rapid City for two days to bring Naomi back and do some more laundry and rest before our last destination, our home farm in Minnesota. This journey was coming to its end, final trip post up next.
