Spring Equinox, Full Worm Moon, Linda's Birthday!
Lots to celebrate at our house concert next Saturday night with Crossing The Caney
March 14 will be the last full moon of winter, the Full Worm Moon. It’s extra special this year because it’s also a lunar eclipse, making it a ‘blood moon’ with a red glow. Native Americans named it after worms coming out as the ground thaws. It’s a sign of Spring. The Worm Moon means new beginnings, fresh starts and growth. For nature, yes, but it can be that for you too. You can dig out old stuff holding you back. I’m all in on a Spring renewal!
Although the Spring Equinox/First Day of Spring doesn’t arrive until March 20 this year, we are already taken with full-on Spring Fever at Hillbilly Haiku. Especially after the return to Daylight Savings time today. But before you start thinking you’ve stumbled upon the Farmer’s Almanac instead of the H3C mailing list, let me bring us back to the purpose for this message today. Next weekend we’ll be enjoying the second of our three Spring house concerts with Crossing The Caney. We’d sure love to share it with you!
